Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Mountain West

We’re hosting a training session where you can learn the basics of corporate finance in a friendly and welcoming environment. An understanding of financial principles is indispensable, and we are thrilled to offer this specialized training to our ACC members.

This will be the first ACC-Sponsored training session we’ve ever offered in Boise. It will be delivered only face-to-face at a downtown location and is tailored specifically for corporate attorneys.

Our morning agenda includes the following critical topics:

1. Financial Statement Basics: We’ll decipher balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow.

2. Analysis of Firm Performance: You’ll get an introduction to ratio analysis. That skill will enable you to evaluate a firm’s performance.

3. Corporate Valuation: We’ll examine how to determine what a corporation is worth and distinguish between book value and market value.

4. Debt Utilization in Corporations: How much debt is the right amount? We’ll examine the relationship between leverage and firm value with corresponding strategic implications for businesses.
