ACC National Capital RegionWith the rise in pay transparency and pay reporting laws (including two new laws in Washington, D.C. and Maryland), class action lawsuits, and individual lawsuits, employers need to ensure they are in compliance with a patchwork of new laws and consider whether and how they will communicate their pay philosophy.
In this session we will cover changes from this past year in state pay equity, transparency, and data reporting laws. We will also briefly discuss developments in test cases and litigation.
DMV employers will want to join this session for a discussion of best practices and recommendations for navigating all of these issues, including the new D.C. and Maryland requirements, and to learn practical tips for reviewing and improving pay equity.
