Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Australia

Do people in your organisation see you and your role as ‘trouble’, or are you treated as a ‘vital partner’ in the business?

If you work in a small or specialised team that feels separate from the company’s main operations, such as an in-house legal counsel role… and if your work focuses on risk, fact-checking, or other elements that ‘slow down’ the progress of the visionaries, entrepreneurial types and strategy-implementers in the business…

You might be seen as TROUBLE.

This makes it pretty difficult to deliver with impact and be influential in your important role.

You know you need a seat at the decision-making table, but first, you need to be seen differently.

In this session, Personal Branding for Professional Services Expert Julissa Shrewsbury will take you through:

  • Vital shifts to make in your Focus, Communication and the Expectations you set, in order to change others’ perceptions of you to be seen as a key partner in the business.
  • Factors that determine Influence, and how to gain Personal Power to navigate new or challenging situations.
  • Building a ‘Leadership Brand’ for yourself to be seen as a peer to top decision-makers, and a developing a strong ‘Voice’ to help to guide the company.
  • Considering how to approach different stakeholders, such as Board v C-Suite or Management.
