Overview (Program Summary)
ACC Europe and Trilegal are pleased to present to you a webinar that will focus on the direct impact of the Act on German companies and their Indian suppliers, as well as the indirect influence on Indian businesses with ties to Germany.
Germany is India's largest trading partner in Europe and has consistently been among India's top global partners. In recent years, there have been several initiatives undertaken by the governments of both countries to strengthen bilateral cooperation and increase investments and collaboration. There continues to be immense potential for growth in the corridor.
The German Supply Chain Act introduced by the German government imposes legal obligations on companies, mandating them to conduct thorough due diligence to identify and mitigate supply chain risks. Starting from 1st January 2024, the Act will also impact companies with over 1000 employees, in addition to those already affected by the 4000-employee threshold.
Join us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the German Supply Chain Act, including compliance requirements, best practices, and strategies for effective supply chain management. Industry experts will share their knowledge and practical experiences, equipping participants to navigate the complexities of the Act and foster ethical and sustainable practices within their supply chains
