In this seminar, speakers from Mayer Brown’s ESG team will discuss the key outcomes and takeaways for companies from COP-27 and the latest developments in sustainable finance including green loans, sustainability-linked loans and social loans. The seminar will also cover the legal and regulatory issues associated with greenwashing and how to manage such risks.

Alan Linning is a partner of Mayer Brown and a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. He has over 30 years of experience in commercial litigation and disputes with a focus on financial services regulatory matters and investigations. With the extensive experience gained from his roles in the finance sector as well as with the Hong Kong regulators, Alan is well placed to provide strategic advice and assistance to clients on both contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters including civil and criminal investigations and litigation, compliance issues and regulatory policy.

Angie Chan is a partner of Mayer Brown's Banking & Finance practice in Hong Kong. Angie advises and represents banks, other financial institutions and borrowers on domestic, cross-border and international bank financing transactions, which include general syndicated/club/bilateral loans, onshore/offshore loans, acquisition financing and development financing.

Wei Na Sim is a counsel in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Mayer Brown's Hong Kong office. Wei Na advises and acts for companies in litigation, investigations and regulatory matters, with a focus on the financial services industry. Wei Na has substantial experience supporting banks in multi-jurisdictional financial crime compliance reviews conducted by monitors in Asia, Europe and the US, and litigation experience from private practice in Singapore. Wei Na also advises clients on environment, social and governance (ESG) related matters and is a regular contributor to the firm's ESG blog.
