CHALLENGES FOR IN-HOUSE COUNSEL IN TOUGH TIMES

WITH KEYNOTE SPEAKER

STERLING MILLER

In today’s world, in-house counsel frequently need to be more than just lawyers – they are also business strategists and advisors. They’re facing larger demands with lower budgets and must help their executives assess risk in new and confusing circumstances. This has been particularly evident over the last three years, as an unprecedented barrage of societal issues have challenged businesses to change their operations and confront new legal issues. Join Sterling Miller and the Association of Corporate Counsel, British Columbia Chapter, for a morning of networking and thoughtful discussion on how to be an effective in-house lawyer during times of uncertainty and change, and how to show the value of your legal department.
