ACC British Columbia

ACCBC and Bennett Jones LLP Present:

Canada's New Forced Labour Reporting Law

ACC British Columbia and Bennett Jones LLP invite you to join us for an in-person discussion on supply chain transparency and what the public reporting requirements in Canada's new Forced Labour Reporting Law mean for businesses.

The new law creates a compliance imperative by introducing a mandatory mechanism that will facilitate public and stakeholder scrutiny of the forced labour track records of Canadian government institutions and many private sector businesses.

With the first reports due in May 2024, companies need to act now to enhance their due diligence and proactively identify and mitigate the risk of forced labour or child labour in their supply chains.

Sabrina A. Bandali – Partner

Sharon Singh – Partner, Co-Head Aboriginal Law
