Overview (Program Summary)
Attorney-client privilege and the protection of client secrets are at the center of Securities and Exchange Commission v. Covington & Burling, a case filed at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. ACC filed an amicus brief on these important issues and the ramifications for in-house counsel, who would be uniquely impacted by the SEC's interpretation of client secrets and Rule 1.6.
