This webinar hosted by Gilbert + Tobin’s market leading Restructuring + Insolvency and M+A teams will cover:

  • common issues that arise in distressed transactions (including differences with going concern/traditional acquisitions);
  • tips on structuring a competitive bid (debt or equity) for a distressed asset; and
  • tips for restructuring or recapitalising a business via a deed of company arrangement

Peter Bowden, Partner, Gilbert + Tobin

Peter is a Partner in the Restructuring + Insolvency team at Gilbert + Tobin.

Peter has significant experience advising banks, funds, insolvency practitioners, creditors and debtors in situations involving corporate insolvency, restructuring, workouts, security enforcement, banking and distressed debt transactions.

He has broad expertise across a range of industries including energy, agriculture, mining, mining services, property, construction, technology, financial services and manufacturing.

Peter has significant experience advising banks with workout and enforcement strategies and negotiating settlements.

Susannah is a Partner in the Corporate /M+A team at Gilbert + Tobin.

Anna specialises in front-end restructuring and insolvency advising corporates, funds, financial institutions, special situations groups and insolvency practitioners on distressed M+A, restructuring and workouts, distressed debt transactions and formal insolvency processes.
