Retail on the Cutting Edge: ABCs of ESG and NFTs

Eco-consciousness is the new black and this year saw the first Metaverse Fashion Week. Sheppard Mullin’s Retail, Fashion & Beauty Team and the New York City Retail Practice Group of the ACC NYC Chapter welcomes you back in person for a cutting edge presentation on two important areas facing the fashion industry today:

• Sheppard Mullin’s Neil Popovic and Lori Wyman from GOTS will provide a “Fashionista’s Guide to Environmental, Social and Governance” (“ESG”) and the related critical legal issues, including ensuring eco-friendly and responsible supply chain and production and FTC-compliant labelling and advertising; and
• Sheppard Mullin’s Jim Gatto and Ted Max Will Explain How Non-Fungible Tokens Have Impacted the Fashion and Retail Industries and What You Need to Know to Protect Your Valuable Fashion and Retail Intellectual Property in the Metaverse.
