During this CLE presentation, GrayRobinson Shareholder Scott Cole will outline best practices to help navigate challenges you will likely face during your engagement. Scott will address how to:
- Operate within Florida's Sunshine Law
- Avoid becoming an "accidental governmental contractor", and what to do if you become one.
- Navigate intellectual property rights in sponsored research agreements
- Understand and deal with public sector culture

Scott leads the GrayRobinson Higher Education Team. He has extensive experience navigating the public entity landscape, having served as general counsel for the University of Central Florida and associate general counsel for the University of Florida.
