Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Central Ohio

This seminar will address lessons in internal company communications and how those communications can play out in litigation.

Please join us for a fascinating ‘smoking gun’ tale, using video clips from depositions in the famous DuPont Chemical trials featured in the movie Dark Waters. Through this engrossing story, Dave Butler, a member of the DuPont litigation team, illustrates the critical role corporate counsel plays in managing internal communications to best protect the company. Unmanaged corporate behavior and internal communications can play a pivotal role at trial – and have devastating results in the hands of the jury.

To be provided: useful take-away materials about the attorney-client privilege in the corporate setting and the discovery of electronic information stored on personal devices.
