Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC National Capital Region

Register now for ACC NCR's third annual DEI Conference.

Join the ACC NCR DEI Programming Committee and in-house counsel from around the region to learn about the barriers to DEI success and what your organization can do to move the needle forward in DEI. Many organizations commit to fostering and advancing DEI within their companies through the hiring of DEI officers, creation of affinity or employee resource groups, development of DEI training, and other initiatives. Yet, there's still the observation that DEI efforts are not yielding sufficient results.

Join us for the following and learn practical tools to make an impact:

  • Keynote by DEI expert Paula Edgar, CEO of PGE Consulting Group LLC
  • Session "Getting DEI In the DNA" sponsored by Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney and presented by Timothy J. Fair, Gena Pemberton  and Lloyd Freeman.
  • Session "DEI Data – The Key to the Kingdom?" sponsored by Ogletree Deakins and presented by Lauren Hicks, Aisha Jorge Massengill, and Paul Kehoe.
  • Insight into the ACC & ACC Foundation Maturity Model with ACC Foundation Program Director KJ Forest (click here to preview the Model).
  • Insight into the ACC NCR 2021 DEI Survey Results with ACC NCR DEI Committee Leader Te-Mika Warner.
  • We will close the conference with break-out sessions designed to provide an opportunity for you to benchmark with your peers and learn more about how to play an active role in your organization’s DEI efforts.
