Compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws is increasingly difficult for employers. The remote-work revolution has garnered increased government attention, with areas such as recordkeeping and overtime pay creating risk for employers in an age of “always-on” work habits. And while the Department of Labor considers whether to make changes to the “white collar” exemptions from minimum wage and overtime coverage, states and localities continue their focus on misclassification of independent contractors. All of these topics, and more, will be discussed by during this presentation,
