Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Australia

Business leaders around the world are using dispute finance to create value, conserve cash and reduce cost and risk.

Dispute funding is a key strategy for businesses seeking to enforce and protect their intellectual property rights, and to do so without cost or risk, conveying strength to the market and opponents, and leveling the playing field against larger opponents where necessary.

Dispute finance allows companies to appoint leading legal
advisers to prosecute intellectual property claims, protect trade secrets, and challenge infringement of patents, copyright and trademarks while reserving capital for R&D or other projects, removing legal expenses from their P&L and leveraging legal claims as valuable assets.

Are you able to comprehensively advise management on dispute finance options?

This session presented by Omni Bridgeway will cover:

  • how dispute finance benefits companies
  • how dispute finance works for intellectual property:

          - which cases are best suited to dispute finance
          - applying for dispute finance
          - typical financing terms and return structures
          - leveraging your team of legal, quantum and funding experts
          - continuous legal, quantum and case support through the disputes process

  • case studies and examples from Singapore and Australia
