Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC Singapore
The Handbook aims to help organisations implement a comprehensive plan to increase awareness of DVA, spot the signs of employees impacted by it, equip them with the skills to respond to employees suffering in silence and ensure a safe and supportive workplace environment.
After the launch, we will share a copy of the Handbook, which you may take back to your organisations and encourage them to implement the principles set out in the Handbook for developing policies on how your workplace may address issues relating to DVA.
About GenSafe Workplaces Programme
The GenSafe Workplaces programme was developed by United Women Singapore in 2020. In celebration of its one year anniversary, we are thrilled to announce our first GenSafe Workplaces Informational Handbook which will help private sector organisations create a Domestic Violence Workplace Policy that works for their organisation and its people. The panel features esteemed leaders of industry who will share their insights on supportive personnel policies and best practices for employees experiencing violence or victimisation.
The discussion will be moderated by Georgette Tan, President of United Women Singapore. Registered participants of this event will receive the first virtual copy of the handbook. This event will not be possible without the support of the Association of Corporate Counsel (Singapore).
