There will be times when you will need to seek assistance from an external lawyer.  Scott will share his insights and experiences on when to take this step and how to maximise the relationship, including:

•    The importance of considering the scope of the work, areas of legal expertise and your capabilities from the beginning
•    When to bring in external lawyers
•    Selecting, managing and working with external lawyers
•    Effectively instructing external lawyers, including barristers, and preparing a brief
•    Practical tips

Scott Foreman

Scott Foreman, Principal, LK

Scott specialises in commercial litigation, focusing on complex corporate and contractual disputes.  He has represented Australian and international liquidators in large-scale insolvency litigation and publicly listed Australian companies on a range of commercial disputes.
Scott’s highly developed analytical skills are invaluable when unravelling complex legal issues and fact scenarios and he combines this with his pragmatic approach to achieve the best outcomes for clients.  
Scott also has a strong focus on community and heads up LK’s Community and Sponsorship Portfolio.
