This session will include:
- Updates to privacy laws in Canada - things corporate counsel need to think about. Essential elements of Bill C-11, Quebec Bill 64, BC's report on its law, the Access to Information Act change and other related laws.
- Developments you need to know about and ways to address increased risk. How organizations need to re-evaluate their privacy risk exposure due to increased litigation, increased penalties, and recent developments in class actions.
This program contains 1 hour of Professionalism content and 30 minutes of Substantive content.
