November 2021 ACC Luncheon-Anatomy of an Internal Financial Investigation

Please join us either in-person at the Quarry Golf Club or via Zoom as our friends from RSM US bring us a presentation entitled "Anatomy of an Internal Financial Investigation.

Using a number of case studies, this program will explore real-word examples of internal financial investigations and the tools used to provide answers to critical questions surrounding the investigation process from start to finish.  Topics will also cover key decision-making points during the investigative process and efficiencies gained in financial analysis with technological advancement of data analytic software applications.  At the completion of the course, you will be able to: 1) explain the typical phases in an internal investigation; 2) recognize leading technology-driven techniques used in investigations; and 3) describe best practices for conducting an investigation.  This discussion will focus on the guidance from the perspective of financial forensic professionals.
