Long Island Regional Group Presents ~Virtual Coffee Talk: Networking Goes Better With Coffee

Join us for a virtual “Coffee 101” tasting session led by Greenwich Village’s Joe Coffee specialty roasters. In this class, we’ll dive into experiencing coffee in a new way- tracing the journey from seed to cup to give us a better understanding of how coffee is produced. After we learn about coffee production, we’ll taste several coffees- from some of Joe Coffee’s most popular year-round blends to unique single origins- to put what we’ve learned into context. We’ll explore coffee in a traditional cupping setting, which will allow us to taste the coffee in a brand-new way. By the end of class, we’ll have learned how to taste and evaluate coffee like a professional, with a deeper understanding and appreciation for how it is produced.
