A program hosted by:

ACC San Francisco Bay Area

Multiple antitrust lawsuits, government investigations, and legislative efforts—with the stated goal of curbing the power of Big Tech—are in various stages in the U.S. and worldwide. Epic was the first plaintiff to get its day in court. In this presentation, we will discuss the overall landscape of government and private litigation against Apple and other large tech companies, key takeaways, and lessons learned from the Epic v. Apple trial itself, and how the legal theories presented during the trial might affect how companies – and not just tech companies – assess risk for their own business practices.
