The final two webinars of the series, previously scheduled for December 2020, have been rescheduled for March. Speakers will cover issues organizations face when conducting business in the EU, with panels that feature Kilpatrick Townsend’s attorneys, in-house counsel, and local counsel to provide first-hand perspective and practical information.

EU Technology Agreements | Ten of the Biggest Surprises In Cross-Border Commercial and IP Transactions

Kilpatrick Townsend Partner Siegmar Pohl will explain key provisions that all cross-border agreements have in common. Siegmar will give examples of choice-of-law clauses and choice-of-forum provisions that unknowingly change the economics of a deal completely. He will point out which areas of foreign mandatory law are most likely to surprise you by overriding key provisions of your Supply, Distribution, or Technology Transfer and IP license agreement.
