Join the ACCBC in a roundtable discussion on the challenges and solutions in dealing with real estate and commercial leasing issues.
Legal leaders from QuadReal Property Group will start the conversation with a brief presentation on:
- Force majeure and risk allocation during COVID-19; and
- Commercial leasing during COVID 19 – Sharing the Pain: How landlords and tenants can cooperatively mitigate the impact of rent default, building vacancies and store closures.
Agenda topics for the roundtable portion is determined by the participants of the roundtable. Suggestions include:
- Alignment of interests
- Dealing with leasing challenges
- Subletting or renovating space as the future of work is impacting real estate needs
- Rent relief issues
- General commercial leasing questions
