‘A Price Worth Paying?’ is a drama film focusing on the board of directors, senior executive team, and external advisors of a fictitious company, Maartel International, and looking at how well each identifies, and reacts to, risks emerging within the business.

The film looks at difficult issues such as executive compensation, the risks involved in an acquisition in an emerging market, the adequacy of the company’s response to a serious whistle blower allegation and the role played, and advice given, by Maartel International’s General Counsel. It reinforces the importance of setting the right “tone from the top”,  ensuring that adequate compliance policies are in place and the crucial role.

Presented by Dechert LLP Partners:
Vincent H. Cohen Jr.,
Angela M. Liu and
Joni S. Jacobsen.
