Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC National Capital RegionDuring this session we will review the major legal developments government contractors faced in 2020. This challenging year was also a very busy one, with the federal, and state and local, governments not only taking major roles in the pandemic response but continuing to advance a number of broad-based initiatives. For example, in addition to the special COVID-related contracting actions, the federal government’s requirements and executive action in areas such as defense, cyber security/cloud, supply chain, and labor compliance were arguably as intense as they have ever been.
We will discuss the key cases, laws and regulations from 2020, as well as some lessons for contractors from the federal government’s use of the Defense Production Act, PREP Act and other extraordinary contracting actions in what was truly an extraordinary year.
Presented by Greg Jacobs and Erin Felix, Shareholders of Polsinelli PC, Andrea Vavonese, Corporate Director, Division Counsel at Northrop Grumman and Won Lee, Associate General Counsel at General Dynamics Mission Systems.
