Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Baltimore

Join your ACC colleagues and David Hamilton of Womble Bond Dickinson, for a webinar on the possible redefinition of antitrust law to break up technology companies and the downstream effects it could have on any company with antitrust concerns. The webinar will take place on October 7 from noon to 1:30 pm.

Webinar log-in instructions will be sent to registrants the day before the event.

The recent Antitrust subcommittee hearings, virtually conducted examinations of Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Sundar Pichai, probed conduct of their respective companies for both political and legal reasons. Though little damage occurred, there is an intense effort by some corners in DOJ, FTC and academia, to redefine antitrust law and to breakup successful technology companies. The reasons and the effort to redefine antitrust law are important to any company with antitrust concerns, including policy formation, merger and acquisition strategies, compliance plans and employee training. We examine all of these issues and provide some practical guidance.
