Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC San Diego

Join Mintz as we discuss the new H-1B regulations from the DOL and DHS. The DOL regulations, issued earlier this month, dramatically increase prevailing wage data, which is used to evaluate H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and PERM cases. When the DHS regulations take effect in early December, they will restrict eligibility for H-1B qualification and create additional burdens for employers that place H-1B workers at another company’s worksite. We will explain the new rules and review practical solutions for employers as well as the potential impact of litigation challenging these rules.

Speakers

William L. Coffman, Special Counsel, Immigration Practice
Susan J. Cohen, Member / Founding Chair, Immigration Practice
John F. Quill, Member / Chair, Immigration Practice
