Overview (Program Summary)
In a global marketplace of ideas, a business’s trade secrets have never been so important. At the same time, companies face increasing risks regarding these vital assets: the world is ever more connected by technology, product cycles are accelerating, and employees commonly engage in remote work—or move on to new careers in competing industries. Please join the ACC Georgia Chapter for this one-hour webinar sponsored by Willenken LLP.
How can in-house counsel help manage the protection of trade secrets in the face of these challenges?
This webinar will provide a roadmap to in-house counsel for identifying and managing a company’s trade secrets, including an overview of up-to-date legal developments and a walk-through of the unique challenges of trade secret litigation.
· Carol Forsyte, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer, Air Lease Corporation
· John Haraldson, General Counsel, LYNX Franchising LLC—JAN-PRO, Intelligent Office & FRSTeam
· Amelia Sargent, Partner, Willenken LLP
· Jason Wilson, Partner, Willenken LLP (moderator)
This event is open to all in-house counsel and their guests. Non-ACC members may attend at no charge. ACC membership is open to attorneys who practice law as in-house counsel employees of organizations and who do not hold themselves out to the public for the practice of law.
A CLE credit of one (1) hour is being applied for, and if approved, will be submitted to the Georgia State Bar for attendees licensed to practice in Georgia.
While we understand that some "no shows" are unavoidable, we kindly ask that you please consider our speakers and hosts who have spent a considerable amount of time and resources to put this webinar on for you before deciding not to attend. Good attendance helps ensure that ACC Georgia can continue to offer CLE programming and networking events at no cost to our ACC Georgia members. If you need to cancel, or have any questions, please contact Connie Swindell-Harding firstname.lastname@example.org.
