Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Baltimore

Regarding COVID-19, the government pronouncements (including government mandated or encouraged business closures and restrictions on travel/large gatherings) are having an unprecedented impact on the ability of many businesses to maintain operations and perform commercial contract obligations. Impacted contracts include, without limitation, manufacturing and supply contracts, purchasing agreements, sales contracts, leases, franchise agreements, and travel/hospitality contracts.

In this session, we will explore how force majeure clauses and related contractual defenses impact performance of these contracts and offer practical, business friendly guidance on how to navigate through the issues.
