Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC San Diego

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about dramatic changes in every aspect of our work and personal lives.  For employers, the pandemic creates many sudden and unique challenges requiring them to quickly digest complicated new laws and regulations, pivot to a remote workplace model, reduce staffing, and deal with employees who may have been exposed, among many others.  In this webinar, we will address challenges with implementing the paid sick leave and paid family leave benefits provided by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), managing furloughs, details on obtaining FFCRA’s tax credits, special considerations for remote workers, employers’ obligations regarding Personal Protective Equipment, how to balance employee safety and privacy, new unemployment rules, and much more.  We will also address your questions, which can be submitted after you register, or during the webinar.

PAUL PLEVIN PANELISTS:
Denise Brucker, Partner
Joanne Alnajjar Buser, Partner
Camille Gustafson, Associate
