Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Georgia

Please join Nelson Mullins and the ACC Georgia Chapter for a CLE on "COVID-19 and the Impact on Employer-Provided Health Benefits."

As employers move into their fall benefits enrollment season, both the workplace and the health insurance landscape have changed. Employers will need to make sure their plans reflect these changes as we move toward 2021. Nelson Mullins partner Ann Murray will discuss COVID-19 coverage mandates and more during this joint CLE, including:

• Increased use/permissibility of telehealth

• Network coverage for a remote workforce

• Wellness program focus on COVID-19 prevention

• Rights to retroactively enroll in or make changes to coverage – how will this impact costs/renewals? stop loss policies?

• How can you address the uninsured portion of your workforce?

Speakers

Ann Murray is a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Atlanta office. Ms. Murray practices in the areas of employee benefits and executive compensation. She previously served as in-house benefits counsel for a publicly-traded company, so she is able to provide clients with a business-oriented and practical approach to help them stay in compliance with the ever-changing rules. Ms. Murray’s clients include private and public employers, brokers, and individuals. She assists her clients with all types of HR and benefits-related matters.

Notes

This event is open to all in-house counsel and their guests.  Non-ACC members may attend at no charge.  ACC membership is open to attorneys who practice law as in-house counsel employees of organizations and who do not hold themselves out to the public for the practice of law.

CLE credit of 1.5 hours is being applied for, and if approved, will be submitted to the Georgia State Bar for attendees licensed to practice in Georgia.

While we understand that some "no shows" are unavoidable, we kindly ask that you please consider our speakers and hosts who have spent a considerable amount of time and resources to put this webinar on for you before deciding not to attend.  Good attendance helps ensure that ACC Georgia can continue to offer CLE programming and networking events at no cost to our ACC Georgia members. If you need to cancel, we ask for 48 hours’ notice to georgia@accglobal.com.

If you have any questions, please contact Connie Swindell-Harding at georgia@accglobal.com.
