Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Georgia

The ACC Georgia Chapter welcomes Drew Eckl & Farnham, LLP whose attorneys Robert Welch and David Rusnak will present “Contract Management in Times of Crisis: Solving Real World Problems the Right Way”.  This webinar will examine a series of scenarios any business could encounter with its contracts during the COVID-19 crisis, and provide practical guidance on how to manage them in real time, without making missteps that could cause headaches after the crisis ends.

Speakers

Rob Welch is a Partner at Drew, Eckl & Farnham and leads its Corporate and Transactional Practice Group.  He focuses on providing outside general counsel services to for-profit and nonprofit businesses in a wide range of industries, including Healthcare Services, Software and Technology, Entertainment, Property Management, Industrial Recycling, Insurance Claims Investigation and Construction Management.  Rob works closely with corporate leadership to meet day-to-day legal challenges and accomplish long-term strategic objectives. His clients range from closely-held local businesses to mid-market national and multi-national companies. Rob also has extensive civil litigation experience, giving him valuable perspective in advising clients with regard to corporate risk management and litigation avoidance.

David Rusnak focuses his practice on state and federal business litigation, risk management, and alternative dispute resolution. He represents local, regional and national clients in commercial, financial, real estate and construction matters. In his practice, David counsels and represents developers, building owners, lenders, landlords and tenants, contractors, engineers and vendors through all phases of complex and common litigation, appeals and mediation.  He also represents his clients in pre-litigation dispute resolutions, work outs, claims avoidance, and contract negotiation for construction-related agreements.

Notes

Attendance is limited to ACC members and their invited in-house counsel guests, as well as prospective ACC members.  ACC membership is open to attorneys who practice law as in-house counsel employees of organizations and who do not hold themselves out to the public for the practice of law.

Thanks to Drew Eckl & Farnham, the webinar is complimentary for ACC Georgia members.   A CLE credit of one (1) hour is being applied for, and if approved, will be submitted to the Georgia State Bar for attendees licensed to practice in Georgia.

While we understand that some "no shows" are unavoidable, we kindly ask that you please consider our speakers and hosts who have spent a considerable amount of time and resources to put this event on for you before deciding not to attend.  Good attendance helps ensure that ACC Georgia can continue to offer CLE programming and networking events at no cost to our ACC Georgia members.  If you need to cancel, we ask for 48 hours’ notice to georgia@accglobal.com.  ACC Georgia reserves the right to charge a fee for attendees who do not cancel.

If you have any questions, please contact Connie Swindell-Harding at georgia@accglobal.com.
