Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC NortheastLawyers were late bloomers to adopt LinkedIn, but in 2020 every professional is expected to have a presence on the platform, especially in our virtual 24/7 world.
LinkedIn is a powerful tool that can support you in every professional realm - job search, overall career development and life-long learning. The key to unlocking LinkedIn's power is knowing how it works, optimizing it's networking capacity and seeing the benefits beyond looking up individual members' profiles and reading through news feeds.
Please join ACC Northeast and the Practice and Career Management Committee for this webinar, presented by legal career transition expert Colleen Torell, J.D., of Keystone Partners Legal.
Not only will you gain perspective on how you can and should use LinkedIn in service of your own short- and long-term goals (the 16,960 members of ACC's LinkedIn group and 469 in the Northeast Chapter LinkedIn group are onto something!) we will address:
- Putting LinkedIn in context: a quick-hit discussion of why we should embrace LinkedIn despite its perch in the family tree of social media;
- Building a stand-out profile that maximizes your active/passive job search and networking presence;
- The types of user activity that can drive more profile views and maximize reach;
- Learning opportunities to prepare for career change and other transitions;
- Professional development and life long learning.
Register below. Registrants will receive dial in/log on information 24 hours prior to the event.
