Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC New Jersey

With more and more examples of discrimination and xenophobia occurring throughout the world, it is critically important to help employees understand how they can be the example of change to root out racism at every level of an organization. By learning skills that take them from a “passive bystander” to an “active UPSTANDER’, employees will be able to apply new knowledge to both their professional and personal experiences.

As legal professionals and business leaders, it is our responsibility to challenge racism and to transform workplace cultures into environments that are inclusive, equitable and affirming for all employees.

This presentation will equip teams with skills that help them identify potential racism at both individual and systemic levels and will encourage them to speak up in response to those all too common “Did they really just say that?!” moments when bias emerges. This training will also illustrate the importance of committing to being an UPSTANDER and will provide strategies to proactively and professionally speak out against racism in an effort to foster a better workplace culture for all. Please join ACCNJ Bronze Partners for this great opportunity and CLE program.
