We will discuss how contract and matter management software is transforming the traditional way we practice law and manage our legal department. We will discuss how technology can automate and track your contracts and matters at each stage of the process, including initial intake, email collaboration, revisions, approvals, signature and compliance.

It is estimated that lawyers and legal teams lose as much as 10 hours per week per person searching through old emails for the right version of a contract, deciphering complicated spreadsheets, or recreating misplaced documents. This doesn’t even include the time expended recreating misplaced contracts or documents. By automating your legal practice, you will focus less on needless paperwork and more on revenue drivers such as closing deals in half the time and building customer satisfaction. We will show you how legal automation maintains the quality of your work, lowers risk, improves client and deadline responsiveness and allows for greater project collaboration, accountability and compliance.

We will discuss, among other workflow issues:

  • The operational shift of the legal landscape from paper to automation.
  • How to identify and solve operational roadblocks in your legal processes.
  • The direct return on investment from tracking and streamlining contract and matter management.
  • How seamless team collaboration increases quality.
  • The need for proper resource allocation.
  • Why performance metrics are essential for long-term success.
