Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC National Capital Region

The coronavirus pandemic and its economic impact present unprecedented challenges for companies and their counsel, along with a long and uncertain path toward recovery.  Join this panel discussion to learn about key areas of concern for corporate counsel relating to the crisis and the road ahead.

This discussion will provide practical legal and business advice that will look forward to what we all hope will be a successful journey to recovery.  Expert panelists will provide guidance on issues relating to supplier and customer contracts (including force majeure clauses and virus-related liability issues), real estate, space planning and remote work arrangements, and communications with boards of directors and stockholders (including periodic reporting requirements).

Speakers

Presented by Thomas J. Knox and Keith M. Townsend, Partners and Susan J. Borschel, Counsel at King & Spalding and Julie Bowen, Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, at The MITRE Corporation.
