Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Central Florida

The speed and breadth with which the pandemic changed life and business was and continues to be unprecedented. The crisis forced many of us into a reactive rather than proactive mode. However, there are some key lessons learned and opportunities created by the crisis that can now be applied to put your business in better stead for whatever comes next. Join litigator Christina Kennedy, and business lawyer Dottie Watson, for a lively, rapid fire discussion of key actions that you can consider now to be ready for the future.

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate department and company successes and shortfalls in managing and responding to the pandemic
  • Identify ways to hedge against supply chain disruption
  • Prepare contractual changes that may benefit buyers and sellers in times of economic challenge [class action waivers, arbitration requirements]
  • Describe key aspects of a good emergency response plan
  • Identify new areas of risk and be proactive in implementing risk mitigation.

We hope you join us for this upcoming session. We will be dividing into teams for some friendly competition to benefit our favorite local charities. Upon RSVP please vote for your top 2 charities:

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, Inc.
  • Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando
