Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC National Capital Region

How should employers deal with off-duty conduct, things that don’t happen in the workplace but affect the work environment?  The issues almost seem endless – from social media posts, to anonymous hotline tips about off duty conduct, to legal (or illegal) drug use.  And, in light of the Pandemic, what is off-duty and on-duty when so many workers are still working remotely?

This program will provide practical, best practices advice on how to navigate the complicated legal issues related to off-duty conduct and help answer the difficult question: where does the workplace end?

Presented by Carson H. Sullivan, Partner, Employment Law Department and Sarah Besnoff, Senior Associate, Employment Law Department at Paul Hastings LLP and Lesley Marlin, Senior Corporate Counsel at Northrop Grumman.

1.5 Hours of VA MCLE credit pending.
