Join us for a comprehensive review of copyright and copyright claims for the in-house practitioner. The Supreme Court and the Federal Courts of Appeal have been surprisingly active in the copyright space over the last three years, we will provide an update on the current state of U.S. copyright law, including a preview of where the American Law Institute’s Restatement of Copyright is headed. 

Copyright litigation has increased dramatically  as well, so we will cover best practices for advising your company, handling cease and desist letters, and settlement strategies, with a particular focus on Section 505 attorney’s fees claims. Finally, we will outline how to pro-actively protect and assert your copyright claims in the current legal environment.
