Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC National Capital Region

This webinar is designed to guide in-house counsel in navigating real estate issues that may affect their interests.  Using a fictitious case study of a merger and acquisition transaction, the panelists will provide an outline of the real estate issues often encountered in M&A transactions, from due diligence matters to leasing, structuring and financing.  In the course of the case study, the panelists will identify commonly encountered real estate issues, both within M&A transactions and in the ordinary course of a company’s business, including pointers on assessing real estate due diligence and dealing with specific issues, such as lease consolidations/relocations/expansions; estoppels and SNDAs; letters of intent, and when consulting with outside counsel may be advisable.

Presented by Diane Shapiro Richer and Jennifer Jones, Shareholders in the Real Estate group of AmLaw 100 law firm, Polsinelli, and Marc Sobel, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of JM Zell.
