Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC National Capital Region

For companies whose primary customer is the U.S. Government, it will come as no surprise that the federal government is the largest purchaser of goods and services in the world – roughly $500 billion a year.  And this doesn’t include billions more in federal assistance extended to beneficiaries through federal loan, grant, cooperative agreement and related federal programs (like the CARES Act).

This program will help demystify the basic rules governing federal government contracts, and how the government is using federal procurement law today to meet its diverse missions, promote public policies, and protect the taxpayer.  This will be a comprehensive, practical introduction to anyone new to the subject, and a helpful refresher for government contracts practitioners.

Presented by Justin Chiarodo, Partner with Blank Rome and Sarah Maguire, Senior Counsel at BAE Systems.

1.5 Hours of VA MCLE credit pending.
