Overview (Program Summary)

ACC Europe and Pestalozzi are delighted to invite you to a full-day, practical and bespoke Smarter Law Workshop, facilitated by Trevor Faure.

Attendees will describe their own challenges which will form the basis for the solutions-oriented process to follow. Please note, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all slide deck handed out afterwards. Instead, each attendee is guided to develop an individual action plan that is directly responsive to their specific needs and for immediate implementation, using the Smarter Law methodology proven in over 250 transformations in the last decade. Past workshops and testimonials can be found at: www.smarterlawsolutions.com/workshops

Courtesy of Pestalozzi, attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Trevor Faure’s book “Smarter Law: Transforming Busy Lawyers into Business Leaders.”

Not based in the Geneva area? We are hosting another workshop on 30 August in Zurich.

9:15 Smarter Law: transforming busy lawyers into business leaders

A rising bar of compliance and greater global complexity form the highest legal risk environment in history. At the same time economic pressures and the involvement of Procurement and Finance mean that headcount and cost have to be objectively justified, at best, or trimmed like a commodity, at worst.

The only subject you need to consider in advance and address on the day with us is: What’s on your mind?

12:30 Lunch Break

13:15 The future starts on Monday morning: your own Smarter plan for success

The lasting value of the Smarter Law workshop is to create your own practical, achievable plan to pull together the best of what you’ve learned and start working smarter on Monday morning. The session will help you identify, measure and improve your route to maximum legal coverage, compliance, and client satisfaction with minimal cost and headcount resources using the full range of improvement techniques from Emotional Intelligence to Artificial Intelligence, soft skills and hard data. In an interactive session you will be able to follow these world-class personal development, business improvement and risk management techniques to leave with a realistic action plan for Monday morning and beyond.

17:00 Networking Drinks

Who should attend?

Chief legal officers, general counsel, and deputy general counsel who wish to transform their individual personal skill sets and drive major performance improvements in both their legal departments and throughout the law firms they use.
