The Panel will provide an update on the passage of equal pay laws by state legislatures across the country, as well as the EEOC’s collection of pay data through Component 2 of the EEO-1. With this background, the panel will discuss how to work with a statistical expert to conduct a privileged pay equity audit, including how to respond to practical challenges that typically arise during the audit process. The panel will also discuss how the audit should include a review of policies, practices and protocols that impact pay to protect against systemic disparities.
