Learn to Curl Night Out!

Come Break the Ice With FaegreBD and ACC Colorado!

Will we see you at the center line? The Faegre Baker Daniels Denver office is excited to co-sponsor a “Learn to Curl” social event with ACC Colorado on Thursday, May 9, 2019. We hope you can join us for an evening of game play and conversation with friends and colleagues.  You will work in small groups to learn the basic skill of delivery, sweeping and shot making.

REGISTER/WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Registration is open to ACC members only. The cost will include dinner and instruction on how to curl. Upon arrival, each participant will sign a Release of Liability form. Please plan to arrive at 5:30pm to get this complete prior to starting at 6pm.

We will start with a short introduction off the ice, then demo on the ice and break into teams of four for learning and game play.

Food will be available starting at 5:30pm. Host beer and wine will be available from 5:30pm-8:30pm in the lookout room. No alcohol will be allowed in the ice area.

WHAT TO WEAR

Guests should wear clean, rubber-soled shoes and warm, comfortable clothing. Think athletic/stretchy pants. No jeans.

Participants will be fitted for grippers to wear on the ice and brooms will be distributed.

Locker rooms are available on-site.

FOOD

Food will be available from 5:30pm-7:30pm and will include: Hardwood Smoked Pulled Chicken (gluten free), Potato Salad, Vegetable Tray with Dip, BBQ Sauce (gluten free) Rolls and Dessert (homemade carrot cake and assorted cookies).
