What are the blockchain-related issues impacting in-house counsel today?   The ACC Georgia Chapter and Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP invite you to join us as we cover everything from the basics of the technology to emerging issues ranging from conflicts between blockchain and GDPR to planning for cryptocurrency payoffs of corporate ransoms and securing your company’s portable digital assets.

Jason Thelen is AVP-Senior Legal Counsel with AT&T in Atlanta.  Prior to joining AT&T, he practiced commercial litigation in Texas for over a decade, and with the U.S. Army for four years.  He has extensive experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain technologies, and the legal challenges they create for companies.

Attendance is limited to ACC members and their invited in-house counsel guests, as well as prospective ACC members.  ACC membership is open to attorneys who practice law as in-house counsel employees of organizations and who do not hold themselves out to the public for the practice of law.

Thanks to Kilpatrick Townsend, the CLE lunch program is complimentary for the first 130 ACC members who register on-line.  Thereafter, the fee for current ACC members is $25, and, in all circumstances, $35 for non-members, including prospective members.  A CLE credit of one (1) hour is being applied for, and if approved, will be submitted to the Georgia State Bar for attendees licensed to practice in Georgia.

To register go to https://accga-june2019-luncheon.eventbrite.com, or click on the 'Register' button.  While we understand that some "no shows" are unavoidable, we kindly ask that you please consider our speakers and hosts who have spent a considerable amount of time and resources to put this event on for you before deciding not to attend.  Good attendance helps ensure that ACC Georgia can continue to offer CLE programming and networking events at no cost to our ACC Georgia members.  If you need to cancel, we ask for 48 hours’ notice to georgia@accglobal.com.  ACC Georgia reserves the right to charge a fee for attendees who do not cancel.
