ACC Southern CaliforniaLegal departments and law firms today know that to effectively develop and advance diverse talent, we must move beyond diversity to true inclusion. But how does an inclusive talent management strategy become reality? How does an organization support efforts to manage the best diverse talent? Why does it feel like we’re taking one step forward and two steps back? Ogletree Deakins, ACC-SoCal and California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP) invite you to an evening of open dialog examining steps that legal organizations are taking to insure diverse talent is developing and filling leadership positions. Ogletree's Chief Diversity and Professional Development Officer, Michelle Wimes, who is a nationally recognized diversity and inclusion expert, will lead an open exchange on what works, what doesn’t, and steps you can take immediately to advance real change in your organization. The conversation will be followed by presentation of the 2018 Profiles IN Diversity Award and a networking reception as well as the ability to tour the musuem.
