Cathy Hoyle is the General Counsel for Enero Group Limited.
Enero is the largest ASX listed marketing services group headquartered in Australia with offices across 13 cities, seven countries, 600 staff and 13 subsidiaries. The Group is a creative technology company operating collective of marketing and communications specialist agencies.
Before FY21, the legal team consisted of just Cathy, sole general counsel, but has since grown to two. Every day Cathy stretches across global time zones and timelines, not stopping at the baseline, but committed to being the best in field, despite size limitation. Operating in seven legal jurisdictions, with 75% of revenue in international offices, requires a thorough knowledge of an extensive variety of laws and regulations.
This year has presented the most challenging circumstances, but with Cathy’s invaluable contributions, Enero Group has achieved its best financial results since the GFC. The Group has moved to an active growth strategy during Covid-19, and welcomed a new CEO Brent Scrimshaw, Chair Ann Sherry, and CFO Carla Webb-Sear. In addition, Cathy’s performance has earned her a promotion to Company Secretary.
