Antonia Kalcina
Lawyer
IAG
Antonia began her legal career as a graduate lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright at the height of the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry. Consequently, she has a special love for Chapter 7 of the Corporations Act. So, it was only fitting that she ended up in the Insurance Projects, Reinsurance and Distribution Legal Team at IAG.
Antonia has always had a passion for learning, and prior to studying law, Antonia completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Criminology and English and Theatre Studies. She then went on to complete the Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne. As Antonia’s career has progressed, learning and knowledge sharing have featured in various forms. From presenting CLEs to her peers, sharing her experiences as a new mum in an International Women’s Day forum, or chatting with colleagues in an informal book-club, Antonia is generous with her knowledge and open to learning from others.
When she isn’t solving the world’s (aka IAGs) problems one email or Teams call at a time, Antonia loves spending time with her husband, daughter and two cats, solving the New York Times Spelling Bee, and exploring walking tracks around the Mornington Peninsula.
