With a passion for practical, commercially minded legal advice I am an enthusiastic in-house lawyer with about 17 years practical qualified experience.
Currently working at HomeStart Finance, the South Australian government initiative that helps South Australians achieve their dreams of home ownership, I have the privilege of practicing my profession in an organisation that has a positive impact in the community and contributes significantly to the South Australian economy.
Having commenced my career in civil litigation at a well-regarded local firm, I took an opportunity to try in-house practice. I spent several years at a commonwealth-owned rail transport business before taking a position at a major international defence contractor and then my current role at HomeStart. I am the sole Legal Counsel at HomeStart and I am able to use all the skills and knowledge I have acquired throughout my career.
I am an active member of the Law Society of South Australia, I currently sit on its governing council and I enjoy writing the odd article for the Law Society journal - the Bulletin.
Outside the law I enjoy tennis and golf, quality time with the family and our new puppy, a golden retriever called Bella.
