Evan S. Stolove, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Genworth Mortgage Insurance – U.S., received the organization's 2016 Service Award, in recognition of his contributions to the chapter as a Board member and officer.
In addition, ACC National Capital Region honored two legal departments – Fannie Mae and Sprint Corporation – that identified and implemented creative and new approaches to in-house practice with In-House Innovator Awards.

In September, we were honored to host Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a fireside chat with Former Solicitor General Theodore B. Olson. They covered a wide variety of subjects, including the Justice's legal career advocating for gender equality, her friendship with Justice Antonin Scalia, her reaction to her fame as "The Notorious RBG," and the importance of lawyers giving back to society through pro bono.  Click here to watch a recording of the entire event on the C-SPAN web site.
